Tottenham centre-back Jan Vertonghen is back in training after almost two months out with a hamstring injury. The Belgian last played for Tottenham in our 2-0 win over Huddersfield but had to be taken off after 45 minutes.
Spurs have had a number of injury problems this season, however, we have been a little lucky with our centre-back problem.

Juan Foyth and Davinson Sanchez have done pretty well in the absence of Vertonghen but getting the Belgian back is great news ahead of some important clashes for Spurs.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side face Chelsea at the weekend before clashes against Inter Milan and Arsenal. Suffice to say, we need to win all the games as our Premier League and Champions League hopes lie on positive results.
Chelsea haven’t lost any games this season under Maurizio Sarri and it would be great to have Vertonghen playing in the first-team soon.
Many Spurs fans were pleased with this news and shared their reactions over Vertonghen’s recovery.
