Harry Kane of Tottenham scores against Chelsea

Tottenham know that only a win can keep their Champions League hopes alive as they face Inter Milan at Wembley on Wednesday.

Spurs come off a fantastic performance in their 3-1 win over Chelsea, and they need to tap into that energy against the Italian giants.

Tottenham are three points behind Inter, and we need to follow up a win over the Italians with a similar performance against Barcelona a couple of weeks later.

Mauricio Pochettino doesn’t have many selection headaches as a number of our players are returning to fitness.

The boss has to make some key decisions regarding our starting XI as we face Arsenal at the weekend, and here is our predicted line-up for the side.

Predicted Tottenham XI

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Manager: Mauricio Pochettino

Hugo Lloris (GK)

The Frenchman wasn’t troubled much by Chelsea at the weekend but that could be a different story against the Italians.

Serge Aurier (RB)

Aurier was one of the best players in the first half against Chelsea, and hopefully, he will attack the Inter back line with as much gusto as he did at the weekend.

Davinson Sanchez of Tottenham
Davinson Sanchez

Davinson Sanchez (CB)

Juan Foyth was exceptional in our win over the Blues, but Tottenham could change things a bit and bring in Sanchez.

Toby Alderweireld (CB)

Jan Vertonghen is close to complete fitness but Alderweireld will lead our defence out against the Italians.

Ben Davies (LB)

Davies had a decent enough game on Saturday and should keep his place in the team against Inter.

Moussa Sissoko (CM)

The French midfielder was excellent against our London rivals and Sissoko needs to perform to his best against a tough Italian side.

Eric Dier (CM)

Dier will have a tough job on his hands as he needs to keep the Inter midfield in check and stop them from creating chances for the away side.

Son Heung-min (LAM)

Son scored one of the best goals of the season and the South Korean should keep his spot for this Wednesday’s clash.

Dele Alli Tottenham

Dele Alli (CAM)

The Englishman was another top performer against Chelsea, and he should keep his place in the side.

Erik Lamela (RAM)

We could see Christian Eriksen being rested after playing most of the win over Chelsea, and who better than a former Serie A player to get a start.

Harry Kane (ST)

Kane scored the second in our 3-1 win over Chelsea, and the Tottenham star would be looking to score a few against Inter on Wednesday.
