Tottenham receive massive boost as key Barcelona star set to miss Champions League clash
Barcelona’s players seem to be dropping like flies as the club confirmed Luis Suarez also picked up an injury and will be out for a couple of weeks.
The Uruguayan injured his right knee and will undergo stem cell treatment. Suarez could be a major doubt for the Champions League clash against Tottenham as we play the Catalans on 11 December.
The La Liga champions have several other players injured with Sergi Roberto and Rafinha picking up injuries in their 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid.
The release from Barcelona adds that Sergi Samper and Thomas Vermaelen are out while Jasper Cillessen and Arthur are carrying minor knocks.
This will come as great news for Tottenham as our final Champions League group game is against the Catalans at the Nou Camp.
Our Champions League qualification rests on us defeating Inter Milan on Wednesday before we travel to Spain to face Barcelona.
Anything less than a win against the Italians would more or less mean the end of our Champions League journey this season, and possible entry into the Europa League.

Tottenham come with a lot of confidence after our 3-1 win over Chelsea at the weekend, and hopefully, we perform in the same manner against the Italians at Wembley too.
