Tottenham are still alive in the Champions League after a hard-fought 1-0 win over Inter Milan at Wembley.

The win lifts us above the Italians in the group but our rivals have it easier in their final game. Inter face PSV Eindhoven in Italy while we travel to Spain and face Barcelona.

Tottenham had a few chances to score more than the one goal, and Harry Kane spoke about one moment which kept us in the tie.

Hugo Lloris made an excellent save from Ivan Perisic when it was 0-0, and the England captain added conditions weren’t the best on the Wembley pitch (h/t Daily Mail):

“The clean sheet was massive.

“It was tough out there. The pitch wasn’t great but we’re getting used to it. We played well though. We played out from the back, through the lines. We could have had a couple in the first half.”

Tottenham know it will be tough against Barcelona but the Catalans have already qualified for the next round of the competition.

Christian Eriksen and Son Heung-min of Tottenham

The striker didn’t score in our win over Inter but wanted the team to attack Barcelona when we face them.

“We will go all guns blazing now. It will be tough, but it is all to play for.”

Tottenham suffered a 4-2 loss to the Catalans in the reverse fixture earlier in the season, but Barcelona could rest some key players in the tie which would be great for our chances.
