“We haven’t received any phone calls” – Tottenham target’s agent speaks about interest from other clubs

Napoli star Allan has been linked with Tottenham recently (h/t Calciomercato), and his agent spoke up about the interest in the Brazilian from other clubs.

In an interview with Si Gonfia Di Rete (h/t Calciomercato), Allan’s agent claimed there hasn’t been any contact for the player.

“The top European clubs are becoming interested in him? He is very happy in Naples and we haven’t received any phone calls. If someone had called the club, which we have a great relationship with, I think we would’ve known.”

The 27-year-old is one of the more consistent players for the Serie A giants, and the Brazilian’s agent further spoke about his development since joining Napoli.

“His debut with Brazil? He was very happy: this has been a dream of his ever since he was a child.

“His improvements at Napoli? In addition to maturing as a man, he realised that under Sarri, there was a job to get done. He started to eat a lot to get physically stronger. Now he’s also growing tactically.”

Maurizio Sarri might be managing our rivals Chelsea, but we could do with someone like Allan at Tottenham. The Brazilian would add a lot of quality to our midfield, and could take over from the likes of Mousa Dembele and Victor Wanyama.

The pair have had their injury concerns in recent years, the Brazilian has been relatively injury free by averaging more than 39 games a season in his three years at Napoli.
