Micky Hazard believes Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino will refuse offers from other clubs and stay in London.

The Argentine manager has been one of the best in the world since taking over at Spurs from Southampton and has turned us into regular Champions League participants.

The Express claims that United and Madrid have been linked with a move for the Argentine but Hazard claims Pochettino will stay loyal to us.

Hazard told the Express:

“The one thing – and the mark of the man – is that he says: ‘I’ve started this job, I’m going to finish it.’

“The great thing about Pochettino is he’s built the team to such a level when we’ve rebuilt the training ground and we’re building a stadium that will be one of the best in the world.”

Hazard claimed that Pochettino had done a great job even though the new stadium was being built. The former Spurs star added that teams normally start dipping when a stadium is being built but the opposite has happened at Tottenham with players getting better.

“That’s all down the belief Pochettino has in them.

“I don’t see Pochettino leaving in the foreseeable future.

“He’s started something and he knows he’s on the crest of something big with this football club.

“He knows he’ll write himself into Tottenham folklore if he brings this club a trophy or two. I think that’s what he intends to do.”

Spurs have one of the best squads in the Premier League and with a few more signings should take us to the next level.

United and Madrid might be struggling but Tottenham are in a better position than the pair, and Pochettino can certainly make us better in the years to come.
