Tottenham Hotspur surrendered a 2-1 lead in the North London derby to lose 4-2 against Arsenal. The Gunners did extremely well and we seemed to be missing a gear at the Emirates.

The day didn’t start well, with Jan Vertonghen handling the ball in the 10th minute. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang made no mistake from the spot.

Eric Dier headed the equaliser from a free-kick in the 30th minute, which led to a fight on the touchline. Son Heung-min won a penalty before Harry Kane smashed it in to give us the lead in the 34th minute.

Arsenal fought back with goals from Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette and Lucas Torreira in a great second half for them. Vertonghen was sent off in the 85th minute to round off a horrible day.

The loss puts us eight points behind leaders Manchester City but more importantly, it pushed Arsenal into the top four ahead of us on goal difference.

Our next game is against Southampton on Wednesday night, and suffice to say many fans were upset with the result against our bitter rivals.
