Lyon president Jean-Michael Aulas has hinted at how much he wants for Tanguy Ndombele. The French midfielder has been incredible for the Ligue 1 side since last season, and Football.london claims Tottenham are interested in him.
The 21-year-old was immense in Lyon’s shock win over Manchester City in the Champions League earlier in the season, and the report adds that Chelsea and the Cityzens are keeping track of the Frenchman.
Speaking at a meeting, Aulas claimed (h/t Football.london) that he wanted a huge price for the 21-year-old:
“We have received offers worth much more [than €50million]. One can imagine that, if we were willing to sell, we could reach the level of transfer fee that Paul Pogba had.”
The report adds that Spurs had bid €40million for the 21-year-old but we might have to spend close to £90million to land the dynamic midfielder.
Tottenham have their problems in the heart of the side with the likes of Mousa Dembele and Victor Wanyama constantly injured.
We have seen Moussa Sissoko step up this season, but the Frenchman is 29, and we need to find a quality addition to the midfield.
The 21-year-old has the potential to be one of the best midfielders in the world, and hopefully, we will splash the cash for Ndombele.

The Frenchman penned a new deal with Lyon and that certainly means we have to spend a lot to bring Ndombele to London.
