Tottenham needed a late Christian Eriksen goal to see off Burnley on Saturday. The win put us three points behind second-placed Liverpool as they play Manchester United today.

Spurs dominated possession but didn’t seem to have the edge in the final third. Eriksen scored in the 91st minute to keep up the pressure on the top two and Mauricio Pochettino achieved a landmark with the victory.

This was Poch’s 100th Premier League win with Tottenham, and it has come in just 169 games. There was more to this stat as the Argentine’s record is better when compared to Arsene Wenger at Arsenal.

The stat certainly is something to think about as Poch has had a tougher time trying to get wins given our lack of financial clout and the challenges thrown in from Chelsea, Manchester City and even Liverpool in recent years.

Spurs have shown their grit and determination to get the right results in recent weeks and this win proved we play right until the end.

Our manager is one of the best in the world and he should break a few more records with Tottenham in the coming years. For the current one that he’s achieved though, mighty congratulations Pochettino!
