Christian Eriksen is one of the top stars at Tottenham but hasn’t signed a new deal with the club. The Daily Star claims the Dane’s contract runs out in 2020, and the 26-year-old is concerned about a lack of investment in the side.
The report adds that Eriksen wants to challenge for top honours and is waiting until the summer before contract talks start. However, a trophy under Mauricio Pochettino would be enough to keep him at Tottenham.
Don Balon (h/t Daily Star) claims that Real Madrid are keeping tabs on the Danish attacker. Barcelona are also interested in the Tottenham star as they see him as a successor to Ivan Rakitic.
Daniel Levy is not the one to go without a fight, and the Tottenham chairman has slapped a massive £135m (h/t Daily Star) tag on the 26-year-old.
Eriksen certainly is an important player in the team and is one of the best in the Premier League too. The Dane was the match winner for Spurs in our previous game against Burnley, as he scored the only goal of the game.
We have a chance of winning a trophy as we still are in the Carabao Cup, Champions League and are just five points behind Manchester City in the Premier League.

Pochettino is yet to open his trophy account at Tottenham but this is as good a time as any to break that duck.
