The youngster seems destined for great things and the Evening Standard claims that the youngster is being tracked by Tottenham.

Ben Hayward, the Spanish correspondent for the Evening Standard, praised the Spaniard and his performance.

“The 19-year-old is a midfielder very much in the Barca mould: he is small and slight, but with extraordinary vision, awareness and technique.”

The report adds that Everton are also interested in the 19-year-old, and it will be interesting to see if we try to sign the youngster up.

Tottenham didn’t sign any players in the summer but Mauricio Pochettino has certainly worked wonders with several youngsters in the current side.

The 19-year-old spoke after the Copa del Rey game and was excited about how things went.

“It’s a dream debut. Not only is it a victory, but I was also able to give an assist. But especially because the team did so well.

“I used to come to Camp Nou at three years old. Imagine how excited I was to go out on the pitch – and even more so after Ernesto gave me 35 minutes!”
