Mauricio Pochettino believes that Tottenham will be ready to win trophies once our new stadium is ready.
Spurs have played their home games at Wembley this season and have faced several delays in opening the new home, but Pochettino believed this was the foundation for great things at the club. Speaking to Sky Sports (h/t Daily Mail), he said:
“We are going to have one of the best facilities in the world, the training ground with the new stadium.
“On the football side, all that we are building here will be in the same level. When you add and mix it all together it is going to be the time to win titles and deliver what the people expect.”
The manager added that the team has achieved a lot despite not winning a trophy at the club. Tottenham came second in the Premier League in 2016/17 and reached the semi-finals of the FA Cup in the last two years.
We even lost the League Cup in 2015 but the team is possibly playing the best football after the Argentine’s arrival.

The former Southampton manager has transformed the side since taking over from the Saints and it will be interesting to see if we win something this season and move into our new home with a trophy in the bag.
