Son Heung-min of Tottenham

Tottenham star Son Heung-min has been rewarded for his incredible form for club and country as he was named the Best Football in Asia for the fourth time (h/t Tottenhamhotspur.com).

The South Korean won the annual award, presented by Titan Sports, after picking up the title in 2014, 2015 and 2017.

Son had a great second half to last season as we reached the semi-finals of the FA Cup and helped his country defeat Germany in the World Cup.

The South Korean returned for the start of the season but led his national side to Asian Games gold, and assisted both goals in the 2-1 win over Japan.

Tottenham might have missed the former Bayer Leverkusen star but the medal ensured he did not have to enlist in military service.

Son has been excellent since his return from the Asian Games and scored one of the goals of the season when we beat Chelsea in the Premier League.

Tottenham are enjoying a fine season as we lie just six points behind Liverpool in the Premier League, and are in the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup.

Son scored in the 7-0 hammering of Tranmere in the FA Cup third round. The attacker has seven goals and five assists in his last six games, but we will miss him as he joins his national side for the Asian Cup later in January.

It wouldn’t be a surprise if Son returns to Tottenham with another international triumph under his belt, and hopefully, we can ride that and win a trophy.
