Manchester United are keeping their options open on who could be their manager next season. The Express reports that Mauricio Pochettino is their priority but the Red Devils have listed two others in case they cannot get the Argentine.

The Red Devils sacked Jose Mourinho and replaced him with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer until the end of the season. Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone is on the list of potential managers, with Gareth Southgate also in the running, according to the report.

Simeone has been brilliant for the La Liga giants, having helped them to the league crown ahead of Barcelona and Real Madrid with a minimal budget.

Southgate managed England in the 2018 World Cup and led them to the semi-finals of the competition. This will come as great news for Tottenham as it would be a huge blow to lose Pochettino to the Red Devils.

The Argentine has a chance to build something special at the club, and we need to keep him at all costs. Pochettino has made Tottenham one of the best sides in England.

Despite the win earlier in the day, United are struggling this season and might not qualify for the Champions League either. Spurs are in a better position in almost every aspect, and we are getting better with each campaign under the Argentine.

It is imperative to keep Pochettino at Tottenham for a very long time and hopefully, United find their man elsewhere.
