The Independent (h/t Sun) reports that Tottenham are looking at a couple of forward options with Real Betis man Antonio Sanabria being linked with the club.

The report adds that the Paraguayan has been watched by Spurs earlier. The club tried to sign the 22-year-old earlier, as per the report, but lost out to Real Betis but have kept an eye on the striker.

The South American has a release clause of £26m, according to the report, and would be a more probable signing when compared to Malcom of Barcelona.

Tottenham have some tough decisions to make in the coming weeks with Harry Kane missing due to injury for a couple of months.

Spurs could play Fernando Llorente as the forward against Fulham, though Lucas Moura or Dele Alli can don the role of a striker.

Mauricio Pochettino didn’t sign any new players in the summer, and it will be interesting to see our activity in the next two weeks of the transfer window.

Replacing Kane will be a mammoth task and Sanabria isn’t the most prolific strike with just five goals to his name from all competitions this season.

Tottenham are in a decent position in the league and all three cup competitions, but it would be difficult to keep picking up the wins unless we find a solution to losing Kane for a couple of months.
