Latest Tottenham news: Ben Davies targets return to the side early next month
The Sun reports that Tottenham left-back Ben Davies should return in a couple of weeks after being out for a while with a groin injury.
The 25-year-old Welsh defender hasn’t played since the 2-1 loss to Chelsea in the Carabao Cup. Spurs played Jan Vertonghen at left wing-back against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League and the Belgian did a great job with a goal and an assist to his name.
The report adds that Davies would provide Mauricio Pochettino with an option for the huge derbies against Arsenal and Chelsea next month.
Spurs have had their problems with injured defenders, with Vertonghen, Danny Rose, Kieran Trippier and Serge Aurier all missing game time this season.
In fact, Spurs have had really poor luck this season in keeping players fit, with most of their stars facing time out throughout the campaign.
Big names looking to return soon
Harry Kane and Dele Alli are also out with injuries but seem to be making good progress. The English striker is expected to return for the clash against Burnley this month, and this will be another boost for Spurs in the coming weeks.
We should have more players ready for the second leg of the Champions League clash against Dortmund on March 5.

We hold a three-goal lead over the German side and hopefully, that should be enough to take us into the quarter-finals of the tournament.
