Latest Tottenham news: Tottenham apply finishing touches to the exterior of the stadium

The Daily Mail reports that Tottenham are inching towards the completion of the new stadium and have applied the final touches to the exterior of the venue.

The report adds that features have been added to the exterior of the stadium with pictures of Harry Kane and Son Heung-min on the glass. The Daily Mail further claims that NFL logos are also present across the ground as Spurs have a deal to host NFL games at the venue.

Spurs recently confirmed that the North London derby against Arsenal on March 2 would be played at Wembley and it is to be seen when we move into the new home.

Crystal Palace could be the first visitors at the ground

The Daily Mail adds that Crystal Palace could be the first opponents to play at the new home, however, the March 17 fixture could be pushed further back if the Eagles progress in the FA Cup.

There have been a couple of events where the fans have been allowed to visit a section of the ground, with the latest one being an NFL Super Bowl screening which hosted 1,000 fans.

Spurs have done well at Wembley this season and recently beat Borussia Dortmund 3-0 in the first leg round of 16 tie.

Hopefully, we continue our excellent progress in Europe and get to play some games at our new home before the season ends.
