Latest Tottenham news: Tottenham stars prepare to bounce-back after Burnley loss

Tottenham have to return to winning ways after their shock 2-1 loss at the hands of Burnley. Their next game isn’t an easy tie as we face Chelsea, and the players were back in training for the midweek clash.

Harry Kane returned to the starting XI against the Clarets and even scored our equaliser. This tie would be another test of Kane’s fitness and hopefully, the Englishman scores against Maurizio Sarri’s men.

Mauricio Pochettino might be in some trouble regarding his actions against Mike Dean but the manager seemed to be in great spirits and even took part in a training drill.

Our defence did let us down in the last tie and hopefully, Serge Aurier has a decent game. The Ivorian was pictured with Davinson Sanchez in training as they prepared for the game.

Toby Alderweireld was also pictured in training and it will be interesting to see if Pochettino plays with a back three against the Blues.

More to come from Son?

There was disappointment in the loss against Burnley with Son Heung-min not performing at his best.

The South Korean was in exceptional form ever since he returned from the Asian Cup, but that seemed to be missing at Turf Moor.

Another player that needs to find his form is Erik Lamela, and the Argentine was pictured in training alongwith the rest of the team.

Spurs lie six points behind Liverpool in the race for the title, and there still is a mathematical chance of us winning the Premier League.

However, we cannot afford any slip-ups now, and Chelsea will have a point to prove in midweek after their Carabao Cup loss to Manchester City.
