Latest Tottenham news: Tottenham fans react to 1-1 draw with Arsenal
Tottenham finally drew a game in the Premier League thanks to a 1-1 draw at Wembley. There was a lot of drama in the game and Arsenal came out firing with the opening goal of the game.
Aaron Ramsey was sent clean through as he rounded Hugo Lloris and calmly slotted past the Frenchman.
Spurs had a couple of quality chances but Bernd Leno stood tall with some great saves in the first half.
Second half madness
Tottenham weren’t able to break the Arsenal defence too easily but got a chance to score as they were awarded a penalty.
Harry Kane stepped up to slot it past the Arsenal keeper, and it seemed set for us to get a point.
However, things were to take another turn as the Gunners were handed a penalty late on, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang stepped up.
Lloris did well to save from the Arsenal striker and the defence did enough to ensure the Gabon striker could not convert a cross from the left side of the attack.
There still was time for more drama as Lucas Torreira was sent off for a horrible tackle on Danny Rose and the game ended 1-1.
The draw didn’t help either side as Arsenal stayed four points behind us while we could not open the gap to our rivals.
Several Tottenham fans lauded Lloris for his late save while a few highlighted that we finally picked up a draw in the competition.

It was fun while it lasted. Btw, we were terrible today. If Liverpool or Man City could easily score past them, this just shows we weren’t good enough. However, the lads did well enough to fight for a point.

You know what, I’ll take a point! Still 4 ahead of them, so happy for Hugo saving the pen considering what happened against Chelsea. That challenge from vertonghen after the penalty on the line was superb. Be positive, we easily could of had our hearts broken in the last minute.

Very lucky draw. Didn’t see anything great today. Not one good delivery, no dribblings again – nothing. We really let our strikers down. Not one single good ball for Sonny or Kane. Eriksen nowhere again. Need Alli back asap.

Better to be lucky than good. Come on you Spurs…
