Latest Tottenham news: Tottenham fly off to Germany for second leg against Borussia Dortmund
Tottenham are set for their biggest game of the season after losing pace in the Premier League title race. We play Borussia Dortmund in the second leg of Champions League round of 16 and hold an impressive 3-0 advantage after the first leg.
Our recent form hasn’t been great though, with two losses and a draw from the previous three league games. Hugo Lloris saved our blushes against Arsenal as he came up with a huge penalty save in the dying seconds.
Harry Kane also scored for us against the Gunners, and the Englishman would be looking to do the same against Dortmund.
The Englishman was pictured alongside Danny Rose as the pair left with the rest of the team. Son Heung-min and Toby Alderweireld were also pictured as Spurs prepared to leave for Germany.
Big game coming up
The 3-0 lead is a huge advantage but Dortmund cannot be taken lightly. Mauricio Pochettino seemed to be in great spirits ahead of the clash, and it is important that we don’t ship in an early goal.
Spurs defeated Dortmund twice in the group stages a couple of years ago. The team should have a great chance of going through to the next round given that Kane missed the first leg.
The fight for a top-four place and the Champions League are all that remain for Tottenham.

Mauricio Pochettino hasn’t won a trophy during his spell in London. However, if Spurs put in a quality performance on Tuesday, we should have the confidence to go all the way.
