Tottenham transfer news: Spurs target Aleksandar Mitrovic in the summer
Fulham haven’t had a great season since their promotion from the Championship.
The Cottagers have just 17 points from 30 games and look certain to go back down. There haven’t been many bright spots for them, but one player has stood out, Aleksandar Mitrovic.
The Serbian joined the Cottagers from Newcastle United and has scored 10 goals and provided a couple of assists in the Premier League this season.
The Daily Mail claims that Tottenham are interested in the 24-year-old striker.
A decent back-up to Kane
There is no doubt that Harry Kane would be leading the line if we sign a new striker. Fernando Llorente and Vincent Janssen haven’t been able to cut it under Mauricio Pochettino.
Mitrovic could come on the cheap should Fulham get relegated, and it is to be seen if he willing to play second fiddle to Kane.
The Serb would provide us with a great physical presence up top, and he is a little different to Kane.
Tottenham need to sign fresh faces with the club not dipping into the transfer window for more than a year.
The report adds that there are four others that the club are looking into, and some fans were convinced of the Serb’s ability to play for Spurs.

Mitrovic would be an unbelievable player for a top 6 side. Spurs should sign him to rotate with Kane, would be unreal. Chelsea could certainly use him too.
