Tottenham transfer news: Juventus make contact with Christian Eriksen’s representatives
Calciomercato claims Juventus have made Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen a summer target.
The Dane is out of contract at the end of next season and has not agreed on a new deal with Tottenham.
Fabrizio Romano (h/t Calciomercato) claims that Juventus have been in contact with the Dane’s representatives and are considering bidding for the 27-year-old midfielder.
Calciomercato adds that Real Madrid have also set their sights on the playmaker. The report claims that Tottenham believe they can extend the stay of the Dane at the club.
Should Eriksen not sign a new deal, his selling price would be extremely high, and the report adds that Zinedine Zidane is a huge fan of the Dane and wants him in Spain.
Tottenham should make the best of the moment
Should Eriksen not sign a new deal Tottenham should sell Eriksen off to the highest bidder. It makes more sense than losing him on a free at the end of the next season.
The Dane hasn’t hit the heights from previous seasons and only has five goals and nine assists in the Premier League this season.
Replacing someone as talented as Eriksen would be difficult for Tottenham, but getting a high value for the 27-year-old would allow us to strengthen other positions in the team.
