Spurs transfer news: Giovani Lo Celso concentrating on the season ahead with Real Betis
Giovani Lo Celso has been a fantastic signing for Real Betis this season. The 22-year-old joined the La Liga side from Paris Saint-Germain and was part of the Argentine team that beat Morocco 1-0.
The 22-year-old has found the back of the net 12 times this season and also has three assists to his name this season.
The versatile attacker’s form has garnered the interest of several clubs with Tottenham interested in the Argentine, according to Calciomercato.
The report adds that Real Madrid, Barcelona and Inter Milan are also interested in Lo Celso, and the Argentine spoke to France Football (h/t Calciomercato) about Los Galacticos:
“Real Madrid? At the moment I am a Betis player and I think only of Betis. In the future I don’t know what can happen, but I don’t think it’s time to listen to the rumors.”
Betis want to sign Lo Celso
The report adds that Betis have the option to sign the player and want to sell him for a quick profit. The youngster has done well in the more technical Spanish league, but could be a decent signing for Tottenham under Mauricio Pochettino.
Lo Celso can lead the attack or play behind the main striker. The Argentine can also play on either side of the attack and would provide us ample scope to play him in our system.
