Latest Spurs news: Jarrod Bowen bags assist as Hull City keep playoff hopes alive

Jarrod Bowen played a crucial role in Hull City’s 2-0 win over Ipswich. The English winger has been in terrific form in recent months and provided one of the moments of the game in the win.

The 22-year-old has been linked with a move to Tottenham and this was another example of his quality in the final third.

The Englishman has 7 goals in his last 10 games and got an assist as Kamil Grosicki scored both goals in the win over Ipswich.

The youngster broke down the right-hand side in the second half and beat a few challenges before squaring the ball for Grosicki, who made no mistake.

Bowen didn’t have a great game in terms of finding his teammates, with only a 67% pass success rate.

However, he completed 100% of his dribbles in the game and did some defensive work with a couple of clearances and an interception, according to WhoScored.

Tigers still in the chase

Bowen’s terrific form in front of goal has kept Hull in the chase for the promotion spots. The English winger has scored 21 times in the Championship so far and has four assists to his name too.

The Tigers sit 12th in the table, however, they are just six points off fifth-placed Aston Villa.
