Spurs news: Some Tottenham fans want Diogo Jota in summer after goal against Manchester United
Wolverhampton Wanderers continued their excellent campaign in the Premier League with a 2-1 win over Manchester United.
The Red Devils got off to the best start with Scott McTominay scoring in the 13th minute before Tottenham target Diogo Jota equalised with a neat finish past David de Gea.
Both teams had chances to take the lead but Wolves were handed a boost when Ashley Young picked up his second yellow in the second half.
The home side piled the pressure on the United goal, and Chris Smalling put the ball into his own net to give Wolves the lead.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s men held on for another big win and moved up to seventh in the table.
A fantastic season for Wolves and Jota
The 22-year-old winger is having a great season for his club. The former Atletico Madrid winger has scored seven times in the Premier League and has four assists to his name too.
Wolves have done some great business with regards as Raul Jimenez and Ruben Neves have been great this season too.
The promoted side can also reach the finals of the FA Cup should they defeat Watford on Sunday, and their hopes will certainly lie on Jota and Jimenez doing their bit in the attack.
The 22-year-old certainly caught the eye of several Tottenham fans, and here are some of their reactions as they wanted the Portuguese winger to join the club.
