Spurs news: Harry Kane trains with the rest of the team for Manchester City clash
Tottenham gear up for what could be the biggest game of the season as we face Manchester City in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
Spurs were in a bit of a dip but turned things around as we won our stadium opener against Crystal Palace.
Harry Kane tried his best to get a goal that day and the England captain seemed determined in training ahead of the clash at the new stadium.
The Englishman isn’t the only one looking to do some damage as Son Heung-min will be an important player for Spurs.
The South Korean got the first goal in our new home, and his energy and running will be important in breaking the City defence.
Eriksen back in form
Christian Eriksen wasn’t great for Spurs in recent weeks but he scored and assisted in the win over Palace and the Dane has to have a fantastic game to unpick the City defence.
While Eric Dier misses out on the game with a hip problem, Fernando Llorente is back in the side after missing the Palace clash.
Tottenham’s defence has to be at its best and it will be important for Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen to keep a clean sheet on Tuesday.
The pair has been great for the club, and this will be a real test for them.
Another player that could have his work cut out is Moussa Sissoko. The Frenchman has been great for Spurs this season, and the 29-year-old needs to be on the top of his game.

City have been in great form in 2019 but playing in the new stadium could be the added boost we need to take them down.
