Latest Spurs news: Harry Kane shares image without protective cast on foot
Harry Kane posted an image on Instagram of him and his daughter feeding ducks.
While the picture is a sweet moment between the pair, it also shows Kane without a protective cast around his injured ankle.
The Sun reports that the England captain had been sporting a protective boot after his clash with Fabian Delph of Manchester City.
However, the Instagram post shows him squatting while feeding the ducks, and there doesn’t seem to be any major issues with his ankle.
Kane has found the back of the net 23 times for us this season and even has five assists to his name.
Pochettino hopes for an early Kane return
Kane might have picked up a serious injury but the Englishman has a history of returning quickly from such problems.
Mauricio Pochettino recently spoke about the Englishman returning early, and he was hopeful of Kane returning for the Champions League final (h/t Sun).
That would be a huge boost for Tottenham but first, we have to navigate a tricky tie against Ajax. The Dutch giants have been fantastic in the Champions League this season and didn’t play at the weekend.
We didn’t do ourselves any favours by losing to West Ham United, and cannot take the Dutch team lightly.
