Latest Spurs news: Tottenham and Everton play out 2-2 draw in final Premier League game of the season
Tottenham finished the campaign with an entertaining 2-2 draw at home against Everton.
The game did not have a lot riding on it as Arsenal needed a big win in their favour to finish in the top four. Eric Dier got the opener in the third minute but Everton took the lead in the second half.
Theo Walcott and Cenk Tosun got the goals for the Toffees in a mad three minutes but Christian Eriksen did not want to end the Premier League season with a defeat.
A fantastic strike by Eriksen rescues a point
The Dane displayed his talent from a free-kick which was perfectly executed. This was the midfielder’s eighth goal of the Premier League campaign and all eyes will be on the Champions League final on June 1.
Spurs need to be at their best in Madrid as Liverpool ended their campaign with a 2-0 win over Wolves.
Tottenham have been excellent in Europe all season and hopefully, we get some of our injured players back for the clash in a couple of weeks.
Many Spurs fans weren’t too fussed about the result against the Toffees and wanted the team to concentrate on the Champions League final.
