Latest Spurs news: Tottenham plan Champions League victory parade

The Times (h/t Sun) reports that Tottenham are planning a parade one day after the Champions League final should they win it.

Spurs face a tough task of defeating Liverpool in the final on June 1 but we have proved our ability to come out on top in the Champions League this season.

The report adds that Tottenham are in talks with Haringey Council regarding the route they could take for the parade.

Tottenham had considered holding the parade on Monday, a couple of days after the final.

However, that plan seems to be off as more people are expected to celebrate on Sunday and several Tottenham staff members have planned to go on holiday on 3rd June, according to the report.

The report claims that the route for the parade would cover the Tottenham High Road before finishing outside our new stadium.

Spurs have been excellent in Europe

Our domestic campaign might have had some lows with unexpected defeats but the European campaign has been exciting.

Spurs have been incredible in the knockout rounds and have performed well in all three away games after the group stage.

We hold wins over Borussia Dortmund and Ajax in the knockout stage while the team scored three against Manchester City at the Etihad to knock them out in the quarterfinals.
