Latest Spurs news: Tottenham fans threatened with bans should they sell Champions League final tickets

Tottenham have warned fans from selling their Champions League final tickets unofficially or for a profit.

A release on the club’s website claimed that they would take “the strongest possible action against anyone” selling final tickets with the possibility of indefinite season ticket bans.

The release further adds that if Spurs learn about any tickets being sold, those would be cancelled for the match and entry into the stadium would not be possible.

Spurs also warned supporters not to purchase tickets from unofficial sources as the authenticity cannot be guaranteed.

Not enough tickets for the final

Tottenham face Liverpool in the final of the Champions League on 1 June at the Wanda Metropolitano.

UEFA haven’t done justice to the final for both clubs involved with the BBC reporting that only 33,286 of the 68,000 tickets for the event have been handed to the finalists.

The governing body hasn’t done any favours to the Europa League finalists too with the final in Baku.

Tottenham are right in trying to warn the fans from buying or selling tickets which can lead to problems, however, this is a huge game which Spurs fans would not want to miss.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men have been excellent in the Champions League this season, and it would be incredible if we can lift the trophy on 1 June.
