Spurs transfer news: Atletico Madrid interested in signing Kieran Trippier
The Mirror reports that Mauricio Pochettino is willing to listen to offers for Tottenham defender Kieran Trippier.
The right-back hasn’t had a great season for Spurs, however, the report adds that Atletico Madrid are interested in the 28-year-old.
The report claims that Napoli are also keen on the Englishman, and Trippier’s future will be resolved after the Champions League final on June 1.
Spurs face Liverpool in Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano, and the report claims that Pochettino is looking to revamp his side in the summer.
Tottenham haven’t signed any players for two seasons but sold Mousa Dembele in the winter window.
Trippier could end the season on a high
Trippier hasn’t had a great season for Spurs and has made some major errors during the campaign. The Englishman had a fantastic World Cup with England last year but was not able to carry that form for his club.
The right-back should start against Liverpool in the Champions League final and could end his Tottenham career on a high by winning the trophy.
Tottenham need to make some upgrades to the team and we could do with a quality right-back joining us in the summer.
