Spurs transfer news: Tottenham have to spend at least €30m for Strakosha
Corriere dello Sport (h/t Calciomercato) claims that Tottenham are interested in Lazio goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha.
The Albanian has been impressive at the Serie A club for a couple of years and the report adds that Arsenal are also keen on the 24-year-old.
The report claims that the Gunners are looking for a new keeper after Petr Cech’s retirement, and Strakosha is a target.
The 24-year-old played 47 games for club and country last season but Lazio finished a disappointing eighth in the Serie A.
Lazio want €30m for star keeper
Strakosha is the first-choice keeper at Lazio and the report claims that the Serie A club want at least €30m to consider selling their player.
The 24-year-old will improve in the coming years and it will be interesting to see if we make a move for him.
Hugo Lloris is the club captain but is 32 and we need to think of a quality replacement for the Frenchman soon. Spurs also let Michel Vorm leave on a free, and the only other senior goalkeeper we have now is Paulo Gazzaniga.
The Argentine did a decent job when called upon last season, and could do with more competition this season.

Strakosha would want regular first-team football and he could be a decent replacement for Lloris should the Frenchman be sold in the future.
