Latest Spurs news: First photos and video of Jack Clarke as he signs for Tottenham
Tottenham made their first signing of the season by completing a move for Leeds United’s Jack Clarke.
The English youngster was one of the breakout stars in the Championship last season, as Leeds missed out on promotion.
The 18-year-old played 25 games in all competitions under Marcelo Bielsa and will return to Elland Road on loan.
The winger needs to start more games, and it will be interesting to see his development next season.
Clarke was pleased with the move to Spurs, and added that this was one of the biggest clubs in the world (h/t Tottenhamhotspur.com):
“Ever since I’ve been growing up, I’ve seen Tottenham playing in the Premier League, they’ve always been there or thereabouts, pushing, being a top side. It’s one of the biggest clubs in England, if not the world, and I’m just delighted to be a part of it.”
The 18-year-old praised the Leeds manager and wanted to progress next season too.

The English winger added that he isn’t bothered about playing in front of huge crowds, and was impressed by the new Tottenham Stadium.
“I had a look around the new stadium before I signed and it was a stand-out moment. It’s a top, top stadium.”
The youngster could be a great signing for the future and hopefully, he performs well next season and returns to Tottenham as a quality addition to the side.
