Spurs transfer news: Arsenal to bid for Hull City’s Jarrod Bowen

The Sun (h/t Mirror) claims that Arsenal are interested in Hull City’s Jarrod Bowen.

The English winger had a fantastic season for the Tigers and scored 22 goals in the Championship.

The report adds that Tottenham have kept an eye on the winger, and had tracked him extensively last season (h/t Leeds Live).

Arsenal have also been watching Bowen since January, and the report claims that they could spend £12million on the 22-year-old.

The report adds that the Gunners are looking to make cut-price signings in the summer, and Bowen is seen as an alternative to Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha.

Spurs sign Championship youngster Clarke

Bowen seems to have a more rounded game compared to Jack Clarke, and started more games than the 18-year-old.

Bowen can also play in several positions, however, Clarke has a ton of potential. It will be interesting to see how Jack Clarke develops next season.

Spurs are also close to signing Lyon’s Tanguy Ndombele (h/t Express).

Tottenham need to make quality additions to a team that reached the Champions League final last season and finished in the top four.
