Spurs transfer news: Eriksen and Alderweireld set to travel for Asia tour
The Evening Standard reports that Toby Alderweireld and Christian Eriksen are set to travel to Singapore for Tottenham’s pre-season despite concerns regarding their futures.
The report claims that the pair will travel with the team on Wednesday and play their first game of the pre-season against Juventus on Sunday.
Tottenham then play Manchester United in Shanghai on 25th July, and the report claims that the pair will be named for the Asia tour.
The report claims that Toby Alderweireld can leave for £25million before 26th July and AS Roma are interested in the Belgian.
Eriksen had spoken about taking up a new challenge, and the report adds that Real Madrid are keeping an eye on the Danish midfielder. The report adds that Eric Dier will miss the tour after undergoing a medical procedure recently.
A big summer awaits for both players
Eriksen and Alderweireld are two of the best in the Premier League and losing them would come as a blow to Mauricio Pochettino.
Finding quality replacements for them won’t be easy, and the start of the Premier League season is less than a month away now.
