Spurs transfer news: Tottenham contact Juventus over Dybala

Tottenham have contacted Serie A champions over Argentine sensation Paulo Dybala (h/t Evening Standard).

The wage isn’t a problem for Spurs, with the report suggesting that Harry Kane and Dele Alli earn more than the 25-year-old.

Spurs have to break their transfer record again

Juve value Dybala at £80m (h/t Evening Standard) and Spurs might have to break their transfer record for the second time in the summer if they are to land him.

The report adds that Spurs have been lining up a move for Dybala for over three weeks, and broke their transfer record earlier in the window when they signed Tanguy Ndombele.

Spurs need to find some cover and competition for Harry Kane after selling Vincent Janssen in the window and allowing Fernando Llorente to leave for free.

Dybala can play out wide or just behind the main striker, and the Argentine would be a major coup for the club.
