Spurs transfer news: Lo Celso set for Tottenham medical later this week
The Daily Star (h/t Sun) reports that Giovani Lo Celso is set to undergo his medical in London later this week.
The Argentine has been linked with Tottenham in the summer and will fly to London once a deal is agreed between the two teams (h/t Sun).
Lo Celso joined Real Betis on loan from PSG last season and was one of the success stories in the La Liga.
The Argentine scored 14 goals and provided five assists in all competitions for the La Liga side last season.
The attacking midfielder also played for the national team during the Copa America.
Spurs need to spend big for Lo Celso
The report claims that Tottenham would have to spend between £54million-£60million to land the talented Argentine.
Spurs have spent big once in the summer by landing Tanguy Ndombele, and Lo Celso would be an excellent signing for us.
The Argentine can play in the attacking positions too and could start for us regularly in a new
Christian Eriksen should also start for us, and it will be interesting to see how things go with Lo Celso should he join.
