Spurs transfer news: Tottenham ready for bids lower than £50m for Eriksen

The Telegraph claims that non-Premier League clubs could place cut-price bids for Christian Eriksen after the transfer window closes on Thursday.

Spanish, Italian, German and French clubs have until 2nd September to finalise their business but English clubs cannot buy after their window closes in a couple of days.

The report claims that Daniel Levy had valued Eriksen at £130m when English clubs asked about the Dane’s availability, but other clubs could try to sign him up for less than £50m.

Eriksen is out of a contract at the end of next season and has attracted a lot of interest from the likes of Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Juventus (h/t Telegraph).

Tottenham looking to sign another player

The report claims that Tottenham are trying to seal a deal for either Giovani Lo Celso or Bruno Fernandes.

Eriksen could even be on the bench should we sign one of the two players, and the Dane is yet to receive a firm bid this summer despite rejecting a great contract offer from Spurs (h/t Telegraph).

It will be interesting to see what happens with Eriksen, with the English transfer window ending soon.

The Dane is one of the best in the Premier League but losing him on the cheap would be a blow.
