Spurs transfer news: Eriksen considering move to Manchester United

Spanish outlet AS (h/t Metro) claims that Christian Eriksen is considering an offer from Manchester United.

The Dane has been offered a five-year contract in the last few days, and the report claims that the Dane is convinced by the rebuilding job that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer faces at Old Trafford.

Eriksen has just one year left on his current deal and spoke about taking up a new challenge after the Champions League final.

The Dane travelled with Spurs for their pre-season games and has been linked with a move to Madrid (h/t Metro).

Tottenham face tough decision in the remaining days

Tottenham have until Thursday to buy players before the transfer window closes while foreign clubs have until the end of the month to complete transfers.

Eriksen leaving for a foreign club could take place after Thursday, and it will be interesting to see how things take place in the coming days.

The report claims that Tottenham want £60million for the 27-year-old and Madrid are still interested in the Dane.

However, they are also targeting Paul Pogba, with Zidane interested in signing the Frenchman from Manchester United (h/t Metro).

Selling Eriksen to United should be out of the question as we cannot strengthen a direct rival.
