Ryan Sessegnon suffers another injury setback ahead of Brighton game
Ryan Sessegnon is a doubt for the upcoming Brighton clash after he suffered another problem in training, according to the BBC (h/t Sun).
The youngster hasn’t played a senior minute for us since joining from Fulham. Sessegnon suffered a hamstring problem while featuring for the U21 England side.
The 19-year-old is one of the brightest English talents in the league but we are yet to see him in action.
It is unknown when the Englishman will be back for Spurs (h/t Sun), and this is another frustrating setback for the team. Tottenham have struggled to collect positive results in the campaign, and injuries to the players have been a major problem.
Juan Foyth hasn’t featured for us after picking up a problem in pre-season, while Giovani Lo Celso picked up a problem in the previous international break. Tanguy Ndombele and Kyle Walker-Peters have also had their issues in recent weeks.
Sessegnon could solve our left-back issue
Danny Rose has done a decent job at left-back but Sessegnon could have been the fresh face on the left-hand side of the defence.
The youngster was deployed there at Fulham and is capable of playing in the attack too.
