Mauricio Pochettino unhappy regarding question on Amazon documentary

Tottenham had to fight hard for the point against Watford on Saturday. Spurs were trailing for most of the game and lacked the penetration to get behind the Hornets’ defence regularly.

However, Dele Alli scored in the final minutes and we were on the end of another decision from VAR. There was initial confusion in the stadium as the scoreboard showed “No Goal” but the referee allowed the effort and the match ended 1-1.

Spurs announced that we are the subjects of the latest ‘All of Nothing’ series from Amazon.

However, Mauricio Pochettino claimed the decision was taken by the club (h/t Football.london):

“Do you think it is a moment to talk about that? I am focused only in trying to stick with giving my best to turn the moment.

“That was a club decision to do a documentary about Tottenham and me as a manager I need to give my best to help the club to do what the club want.”

Not the best time for the documentary

Pochettino’s frustration regarding the documentary is understandable since the team haven’t done all that well this season.

Stuffing cameras all around the dressing room is a major invasion of privacy. Concentrating for the players and staff might be difficult too with the crew in every corner of the ground.

It would be a major surprise if Spurs aren’t allowed to view the doc first before it is released, and hopefully, this doesn’t make our season any worse.
