Tottenham interested in Bruno Fernandes transfer once the January window opens

Tottenham are set to revive their interest in Portuguese midfielder Bruno Fernandes, according to the Daily Mail (h/t Express).

Spurs failed to land the 25-year-old in a summer deal worth €60million, however, the winter window gives them another chance to sign the midfielder (h/t Express).

The 25-year-old has scored six goals and provided five assists in all competitions for Sporting Lisbon this season and is expected to replace Christian Eriksen, according to the report.

The Dane is out of a contract at the end of the season and can leave on a free transfer. Tottenham are expected to make a host of changes to the team and some of the players could be sold in January (h/t Express).

Spurs need goals from the midfield

Fernandes could be a great signing for Spurs as we need someone to score goals from the midfield. The Portuguese scored loads of goals last season and can also play in several attacking positions.

It will be interesting to see how much money we can make from our winter sales. Tottenham were unable to get rid of some of the players in the summer, and we need to make some changes to the team quickly.
