Jose Mourinho hopeful of keeping Tory Parrott at Tottenham
Troy Parrott is one of the brightest talents at Tottenham. The 17-year-old Irish striker made his Premier League debut in the 5-0 win over Burnley and had featured in the Carabao Cup defeat at Colchester too.
The forward has already played for the Irish senior side, and there are great things expected from him.
However, the youngster has only 18 months left on his contract and has attracted the interest from several European clubs (h/t Sun).
Jose Mourinho is keen to keep hold of the 17-year-old and is hopeful of convincing him to stay at Tottenham, according to the Evening Standard (h/t Sun).
Mourinho has some tough decisions to take as Spurs boss. Jan Vertonghen, Christian Eriksen and Toby Alderweireld are all free agents in the summer.
Spurs need to keep hold of Parrott
The youngster is a great talent and it will interesting to see how many games he plays this season.
The report claims that Parrott could feature against Bayern Munich in the Champions League tomorrow.
Spurs can’t mix the team up much later in the season as we are out of the Carabao Cup. However, Parrott could play in the FA Cup too.
