After impressing in the 2018-19 season, Tottenham signed Jack Clarke in the summer and immediately loaned him back to the Whites. The expectation was for him to push on from his breakout season in 2018/2019 and gain valuable experience.
This has, however, not gone according to plan with the young attacker featuring just 19 minutes in the Championship and predominantly playing with the Under-23 side.
Apart from Clarke, Leeds also have Illan Meslier, Ben White, Helder Costa, Eddie Nketiah and Jack Harrison on loan for the season.
Championship rules state that a club cannot select more than 5 loanees in the same matchday squad. With all the other loanees ahead of Clarke, it seems likely that Tottenham will recall Clarke as Jose Mourinho seeks to rebuild Spurs. (h/t Athletic)
With Leeds linked with loan moves in January for promising Liverpool duo Rhian Brewster and Curtis Jones, Clarke would be further sidelined. (h/t Mirror)

Recalling Clarke from Leeds would be in everyone’s best interest but we shouldn’t rule out another loan deal for the youngster as long as he is promised enough playtime.
