Kyle Walker-Peters looks set to join Crystal Palace on loan

Walker-Peters has seen himself fall low in the pecking order after Mourinho’s appointment with the Portuguese manager preferring to use Serge Aurier whenever possible.

The 22-year-old has made just 5 appearances this season. He has started just 1 game under Jose Mourinho, the 3-1 away loss to Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League. (h/t Whoscored)

With Tottenham targetting the likes of Jonjoe Kenny, Max Aarons, and Nathan Ferguson, Walker-Peter’s time at Spurs looks to be drawing to a close.

Palace could probably use the player in rotation at right-back for Palace veteran Martin Kelly. With Joel Ward currently out with a knee injury, Walker-Peters could be in line for considerable playtime.

The 22-year-old has made 12 appearances for Spurs since making his debut in 2017. The player’s contract at Tottenham runs until 2023.

The player has also been linked with moves to other Premier League clubs namely Southampton and Brighton and Hove Albion. (h/t Sky Sports)

Right-back has been a problematic position for Palace since Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s sale to Manchester United in the summer. Walker-Peters has a real chance here to impress and showcase his ability.
