Tottenham face off against Manchester clubs and Liverpool for Todd Cantwell
Tottenham Hotspur face competition from a trio of English giants for the signing of Norwich City’s Todd Cantwell, according to The Athletic.
Liverpool have become the latest team to join the race for the highly-rated midfielder. The Reds join Manchester City and Manchester United as Spurs are set to face more competition for the player.
In spite of Norwich being rock bottom of the Premier League, Cantwell has impressed in his first season in the top-flight. The 21-year-old is the club’s second top scorer and second-highest assist getter this season. He has scored six goals and provided two assists so far. (h/t Whoscored)
The youngster has made 55 appearances (h/t Whoscored) since making his debut for Norwich in the 2017-18 season. Cantwell then spent the rest of the season on loan at Dutch Second Division side Fortuna Sittard before establishing himself as a regular at Carrow Road the next season.
