Tottenham Hotspur are keen on United defender Chris Smalling
According to Corriere Dello Sport (h/t The Sun) Tottenham Hotspur are keen on Chris Smalling. The Manchester United defender has impressed on loan at Roma this season.
The 30-year-old has been a revelation since moving to Roma in the summer. The Englishman has been an ever-present in Giallorossi backline and has made 24 appearances this season. He has also contributed two goals and one assist this season. (h/t Whoscored)
Jose Mourinho is familiar with the defender who made 82 appearances for the Portuguese during his time at Manchester United. Smalling is an experienced player with over 300 senior appearances and can be a useful addition to our team.
