Juventus want to sign Harry Kane in the summer transfer window

According to Italian publication Tuttosport (h/t Daily Mail), Italian giants Juventus are keen on signing Harry Kane following Tottenham’s exit from the Champions League.

The Serie-A champions are keen for the English superstar to partner Cristiano Ronaldo up front. Juventus view the Spurs star as someone who can fulfil the role Karim Benzema played alongside Ronaldo at Real Madrid.

Not only will Kane be expected to score goals but also link up well with Portuguese, giving him more freedom. Ronaldo’s partnership with Benzema was a key factor as the Spaniards won four European crowns in five seasons.

According to the report, Kane has been added to a list of players the Turin giants are keeping an eye on. Juventus are said to be ready to go the extra mile to land the English captain.

Juventus are keen to sign a striker to provide competition for Ronaldo and Paulo Dybala. Apart from Kane, they are also keeping tabs on Mauro Icardi, Timo Werner and Gabriel Jesus.

Kane is a prolific striker and one of Tottenham’s best players of the Premier League era. He has a contract at Spurs till 2024. It was reported recently that he was keen to take the next step in his career and could leave the club in search of trophies.

Juventus have been insatiable in their quest for domestic glory and feel they can provide the 26-year-old with enough opportunities to win trophies with them.
