Harry Kane reveals no Tottenham star has tested positive for COVID-19

According to the Mirror, Tottenham Hotspur superstar Harry Kane has revealed that all Spurs players have been tested for the coronavirus.

Thankfully all tests came back negative. The players underwent the ordeal last Monday. Apart from the players, the staff too were checked for the same.

“All the players and staff had tests – and everyone came back negative, which was great.”

Kane also went on to add that clubs are in talks with the Premier League regarding training. He is hopeful that training of small groups will be permitted within the next two weeks, with regular tests on the agenda.

Premier League players are back in training with the government approving football to be played behind closed doors. The Spurs player returned to the training ground last week. They were permitted to undergo one on one training with one member of staff on one pitch with self-distancing in place.

Speaking on playing behind closed doors, Kane admits it must be difficult for some teams more than others. He used the example of Liverpool to drive home his point.

Although he sympathizes with their fans missing out on what is a long-awaited title celebration, he believes it is necessary.

“Liverpool deserve to lift the title and with their fans missing it will be a strange situation”
