Tottenham midfielder Harry Winks claims club’s new stadium “feels like home”
In an interview with Sky Sports News, Tottenham midfielder Harry Winks has claimed that the club’s new stadium “feels like home”.
The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is considered one of the finest arenas in England. The state-of-the-art facility has picked up two prestigious awards recently. It was named the Venue of the Year 2020 at TheStadiumBusiness Awards in April. The stadium also picked up another top honour at the mondo*dr awards earlier this month.
Now, Winks speaking of the club’s new stadium has praised the facilities that are in place and has claimed that the ground feels like home. (h/t Sky Sports)
“A nice big physio room, a nutritionist room, a big gym for us to do our pre-game stuff, a kit room, the manager’s room, a nice dining suite where we can have our food, and a lounge area where we can relax before an evening game as well. We’ve only been there a year, but it feels like our home already.”
Winks is not alone in praising the facilities and the atmosphere at our stadium. Recently, Norwich City defender Max Aarons claimed that The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was his favourite ground in the Premier League.
With football suspended for over two months, our stadium is being used in the battle against the coronavirus pandemic. Parts of the stadium have been turned into a hospital unit, while a coronavirus testing centre has also been set up.
